currently playing a $11+1, 6 handed turbo SNG.
AT WORK!
im pretty sure this isnt the smartest thing to do...but hey, its keeping me awake (kinda).
ive been playing super tight early on in these, not making many raises with anything less than 10 10 till the blinds get really high or ive come up with a good sized stack.
820 chips left on a super aggressive table and i cant catch a hand for the life of me!!!!
640 chips left UTG, all-in with 99! they folded. moral (and first) victory, i suppose.
unfortunately, i have to wait for hands because theres like 4 maniacs on the table out of 6 people!
just saw a guy push someone all in with 3 5 from UTG, next guy called with AJs and hand comes 3 8 5, 4, 5. awesome. he was the only non-maniac at the table.
blinds are 50/100
all in with 660 from the SB with A 8. Cool! A 5 K 5 8. except...that same guy called my all-in with 5 4.
gotta love this bs.
.
second try at the same game:
survived an all-in with QQ. short stack went all in for 315 big stack reraises all in. i figure i have the best hand cuz hes so eager to get isolated and i call. K-9, 99, vs my QQ. short stack hits a K, but i still make out with 1600.
AK in sb. 40/80 blinds. and..i lose.
everyone folds around to me. i raise the pot. bb calls. flops A 9 J. i bet the pot which is 480. he reraises all in for about the same as i have left. i call. he has A9. awesome.

ur horrible...lol...jk just bad beats...
the bigger question is how are you always short stacked...i feel like you're either calling too many hands preflop, or not playing the flop well..
one thought...that hand in the sb with ak...raise was good...but u don't have to bet the pot on the flop to get information...if he misses he's folding to a half sized bet...in your specific hand you still lose your stack...but betting half the pot is the better play...it also entices someone with a weak ace or middle pair to push thinking your weak...
in other news, i decided to start my own blog too!
